Thank you to everyone who pulled up to our open house! Y’all made it a night to remember.
Photo Journal: June 2025
Flowers & Cars. Vibrance, color, variety. All that good stuff with both. The Summer is heating up, the world is alive again and we’re in full swing. Nothing else to say here – back to work. Enjoy.
Ian Brownhill, Influence, and What Actually Works in 2025
The term "influencer" gets thrown around way too easily. It has become a lazy catch-all for anyone with a following, which ignores the real strategy and amount of work it takes to make engaging content. Today’s best creators aren’t just influencing! They’re writing, producing, editing, testing, watching analytics, and constantly scrutinizing every detail to make sure their content lands with their target audience.

Some of the best things ever & the feelings that go along with them. Making the mundane appealing. Soaking it all in.
Open House + Networking Event: Thurs, June 26
We've been quiet, but behind the scenes, BLK MKT Studios has been evolving. We’ve been renovating our space, adding to our team, launching new merch, and expanding our reach. A lot has been happening quietly, and now it feels like the right time to open the doors and reintroduce ourselves.
Photo Journal: April 2025
There’s not much to say here. Maybe just that this is only a quarter of the photos I took while on leave. The other portion exclusively reserved for friends and family since they’re all mostly that anyways. These are just the in-between moments that stuck out in the wake of learning how to take care of a newborn & being surrounded by loved ones.
How FPV Drone Content Elevates Brand Storytelling
A New Way to Capture Movement: FPV (First-Person View) drone content brings new energy to video production by transforming a simple walkthrough into a high-speed, immersive experience. Unlike traditional walkthrough videos, FPV drones can glide through spaces with smooth, continuous movement and pull the viewer into every corner of the experience.
Photo Journal: March 2025
March was another month of “hurry up and wait”, caught in limbo, going through the motions. This time of the year would normally make a statement like that sound excruciatingly depressing, but it’s felt like quite the opposite. It’s been slow and steady, and I’ve been focused – which is exactly what I’ve needed, so I’m more than content.
Photo Journal: February 2025
Grey-sky days in the dead of Winter. And as creatures of habit, we naturally mirror the mood and wear the cold New England weather on our backs like a wet, heavy wool coat. I have a strong disdain for February—more so than any other month—and for no shortage of reasons. But all things considered, this one was oddly pleasant.
2025 Studio Apparel: The Exploding Globe
Another year, another run of screen printed studio gear. Most businesses fail within their first five years, so to commemorate year number five we took our trademark globe logo and BLEW IT UP ourselves. The detonation marks an end to a chapter and sets a clean slate for new growth, innovation & evolution for the studio.
Photo Journal: January 2025
In recent years I’ve slightly fallen out of love with photography on a personal level, but have found more enjoyment in other things. My logic is that I’ve made it “work”, and it ultimately is. Lugging around multiple lenses, a big bulky camera bag & sitting down to edit after working all day has felt extremely cumbersome & uninspiring. I hate to admit that there has been little desire to shoot photos unless it’s directly attributed to earning a living.
