As many know (but in case you've landed here and don't), in late 2019 I founded a creative agency called, “BLK MKT Studios”.

Shortly after doing so, we went on a small hiatus with SOSICO. in 2020 due to the global pandemic. The decision did not come easily, but something didn’t feel right about trying to push clothing sales when the world seemed to be in dire straits. I believed that taking a step back, taking a deep breath & re-focusing on mental health, rather than monetary things, was more important. I still stand by that decision.

Fast forward to 2025 and a few things have changed. BLK MKT Studios has grown from just the spark of an idea into a team of about ten individuals. Fashion trends have changed and developed immensely, they have aged and matured in some ways and reverted to old roots in others; much like myself. My voice and interest in fashion has changed. Streetwear is dead, consumed by corporate buyouts and box stores. And the few core brands that represent “true streetwear” are still holding on somehow amidst it all.

Despite all of this, the fact of the matter is that I made a promise to Matt and to myself. Forever and Always. Legacy. Longevity. Remembrance. To keep the flame flickering like a zippo. SOSICO. will bend, but not break. It will move and flex and pivot as needed, but it will not disappear.

So with that; it will exist in this space for now - tied to BLK MKT Studios, another business of mine. I am working on getting the blog moved over somehow, or figuring out a way to archive those entries. There are some plans for the future, although loose for now. Prices are the same. Service, shipping and fulfillment are the same and operating out of the same space we have for the last eight years.
