Photo Journal: August 2025

Summer’s Close

August begins the parade of the best three months of the year in New England. The summer starts winding down and breaking way for the warm days and cool evenings that September brings. Nostalgia seems to hit with a certain ferocity for me at this time of the year - the mornings and evenings each have a distinct scent to them that speaks to prior years. I’ve always felt the most energized and creative in this season. Matt and I would talk about the energy around this time, we produced our best work and concocted our best ideas for SOSICO.

Matt’s quote, “fear nothing and the rest will falter”, was probably born on a cool, late August night, while sitting outside under the stars.

For now, I’m happy to just exist in the moments here. Small bite-size snapshots into a month of warmth and leisure.
