2025 Studio Apparel: The Exploding Globe
Another year, another run of screen printed studio gear.
Most businesses fail within their first five years, so to commemorate year number five we took our trademark globe logo and BLEW IT UP ourselves. The detonation marks an end to a chapter and sets a clean slate for new growth, innovation & evolution for the studio. In the last six months of 2024 we stripped down the entire operation to bare bones and rebuilt almost everything internally from the ground up (with a few things still being buttoned up as we write this).
“Destruction is a form of creation.”
Keeping with the theme of destruction, this new run of apparel breaks our own traditions. For the first time, we’ve introduced white into the print, stepping away from our signature monochromatic "BLK MKT Purple" to make this milestone piece stand out. We even enlisted West Coast 3D Artist & Animator, David Kill, to help lay the dynamite on this 3D globe render centerpiece.
The Technical Specs
Screen printed on garment-dyed heavyweight Comfort Colors tees for that soft worn-in feel from day one. And for the colder days; premium 12.5 oz. heavyweight Independent Trading Co. hooded sweatshirts featuring an oversized fit, drop shoulder and no drawcord - clean, warm and minimal.

This quote comes from Dom Kennedy’s, “Erica, Pt 2”, the eighth track off of his 2013 “Get Home Safely” album. The message was originally written in a letter to Dom by his cousin, Joey Supreme, who was incarcerated.
“I think it’s a powerful, symbolic & impactful message that has always resonated with me, proving how something so beautiful and profound can manifest from the darkest places. And I’ve never personally seen it applied to anything tangible like clothing. As far as I know it only exists in the digital format of the song, so I wanted to bring that to life and give it another space to exist in (with all respect to its origins of course).”
So better late than never, the 2025 studio tee shirts and hooded sweatshirts are available now. Sweatshirts are only available in limited quantities since it’s the first time we’ve offered them, and the tees are business are usual.
